How to Fix Warped Perler Beads
Techniques to flatten warped projects and prevent the issue.
A warped fuse-bead piece flattens if you warm it lightly under parchment until the plastic softens, then let it cool under a book or a heavy board. The bend almost always comes from cooling without even pressure, or from ironing only one side.
Flatten a warped project
Reheat gently
Cover with parchment and warm lightly with the iron so the plastic softens again.
Press flat
Place a book or heavy board on top while it cools completely.
Prevent
Iron evenly on both sides and always cool under pressure.
